On a daily basis every resort gets the same type of phone call. It's from a timeshare owner wanting advise on how to dispose of their interval. Most resorts have no advice, although many resorts will refer them to a local Broker who will list the property and wait for a buyer. Some people have the luxury of waiting two or three years for the right buyer to come along, if one ever does, but most of these callers have already gone the route of Brokers and internet advertisers and have been scammed at least once or twice. By the time these people get the idea to call the resort staff for advise they are already at a point of desperation, ready to stop paying maintenance fees, and allow the resort to foreclose.
